“Isn’t it nice to know you can always count on family?” It’s our corporate mission in a nutshell. Kelmann Restoration is a family, and we treat everyone else like family, too. It’s our approach to ethics, a take on the famous Golden Rule, and a way of approaching how we work and run our business. When disaster strikes, you need to count on someone. You can count on family, and you can count on Kelmann.
The Kelmann Cares Foundation, founded in 2019, seeks to lift up organizations, programs and individuals that embody this mission. We empower those who are serving local families, improving our communities and supporting those who protect us. We believe that by impacting local families, we may impact communities, our nation and the world.

Our employees volunteer their time and talents with many organizations throughout the year, including:
Kelmann also works with several area schools, giving interns tangible job skills and supplying materials and expertise to high school skilled trade programs. We are proud to contribute to local interests and non-profit organizations thanks to our participation in various professional and industry organizations.
Kelmann is a trusted voice on both local and national stages. Hundreds of Wisconsin insurance professionals have attended our Fire and Water Loss Seminars throughout the years. We frequently appear as expert guests on radio and television programs discussing remodeling, renovation and safety – as well as our mission to put family first and work with a spirit of service. We have been invited to participate in national roundtable discussions about issues and solutions in the disaster recovery and property renovation industries.
Giving back begins with supporting the families of our 100+ employees. Kelmann Restoration is committed to investing not only in our employees, but in their families, children and communities. This extends to our business partners, subcontractors and clients.
Kelmann Restoration is Wisconsin’s award-winning full-service disaster cleanup and property restoration company. Founded in 1973 by high school friends Jerry Kelly and Dick Niggemann, Kelmann is run today by Jerry’s son, Tom, and a leadership team of lifelong friends and trusted experts – some of our employees have been with Kelmann for nearly 40 years. Kelmann has been a family business from the beginning; often spotted around the office are Tom’s wife, Erin, and children, Clare, Anne, Rose, and John (not to mention their dog, Mollie).
