After a property disaster, you will have many questions. Is your property restorable? Can your valuables be salvaged? Will your insurance company pay for restoration after water damage, fire damage or storm damage?

So, how does the property restoration process work?
Each insurance provider is a little different, but most will follow this general process:
- Reach out to your Insurance Agent
- Learn about the specifics of your coverage.
- Count on Kelmann
- We will use our property damage knowledge to provide a comprehensive scope of repair work.
- Understand the Payment Process
- As the project gets underway, we will help you learn more about billing and which aspects of the restoration are covered by insurance. In most cases, your only out-of-pocket cost is your insurance claim deductible. In some cases, payment from the insurance company will be made directly to us. In other cases, you will receive the payment and you simply have to forward the payment to Kelmann.
Continuing Education
We want to help keep our Insurance Agents educated with the latest information. We know that everyone has busy lives so we have created Kelmann Academy. Our Story
Kelmann Restoration is Wisconsin’s award-winning full-service disaster cleanup and property restoration company. Founded in 1973 by high school friends Jerry Kelly and Dick Niggemann, Kelmann is run today by Jerry’s son, Tom, and a leadership team of lifelong friends and trusted experts – some of our employees have been with Kelmann for nearly 40 years. Kelmann has been a family business from the beginning; often spotted around the office are Tom’s wife, Erin, and children, Clare, Anne, Rose, and John (not to mention their dog, Mollie).
